Generate Random Content

Designing the look and the layout of a document is crucial. Sometimes you might have it all chalked out in your mind but have to wait till the content is ready to try out how it will finally turn out. Why wait? Did you know you could generate random content? Word has an undocumented function RAND - a random paragraph generator.

The syntax is as follows:
=Rand(No_Of_Paragraphs, No_Lines_In_Paragraph)

Type =Rand(2,5) anywhere in the document and you will have 2 paragraphs (5 sentences in each of them) appearing instantly. Change the parameters to suit your requirement and you will have enough of content to experiment with.
